About Brian Kelly
Brian has spent more than 20 years designing, supporting, and automating IT systems for businesses and the managed service providers that support them. His background spans hands-on IT support, systems and network engineering, MSP operations, and business ownership, with a focus on automation and security.

Brian's experience includes running an MSP, supporting business networks and servers, and building the monitoring and automation that help teams keep those systems reliable. That background shapes how Automated Edge builds and supports the systems its customers depend on.

How that experience shapes the work

We start with the work your team does every day. Our Edgerton assessment measures that work over ten business days, with your team's knowledge and consent. You get a report and a proposal that explain what we would build, what it costs, and the estimated payback. You keep the findings and decide whether to go ahead.
If you choose to build, we set up EdgeKeeper on a server dedicated to your business. We connect the tools you approve, build the agreed automations, and keep them running. You have a named person to contact and support covered by your service agreement.
How an engagement runs
Four stages, each one your decision.

A strategy call
Thirty minutes, free, no pitch. We talk through the work you want to change and quote the fixed assessment fee on the call.
- 02
The Edgerton assessment
We install Edgerton on the computers you choose for ten business days, with your team’s knowledge and consent, and store the records in a database dedicated to your business. You get a report and a full proposal. If we find no clear ROI path, the fee is refunded and you keep the report.
- 03
The EdgeKeeper build
If you go ahead, we set up a dedicated server running our EdgeKeeper software, connect the tools you approve and build the automations in your proposal. The price is fixed and you agree the scope and delivery date first. Builds typically take four to twelve weeks.

Ongoing support
We manage the server, maintain the connections and support what we build, with a named lead and a monthly written review. Your team works in Switchboard for answers, reports, dashboards and read-only AI agents.

Built by IT and security pros
Access agreed first. Changes approved by a person.
We come from IT support, networks and MSP operations, so we treat access to your systems as a responsibility. EdgeKeeper runs on a dedicated Microsoft Azure server with no public internet address and restricted outbound access. Each question runs read-only in a temporary sandbox, a person approves a specific change before it runs, and access is recorded for review.
Your business data, records and knowledge stay yours, with full export rights in the contract and a documented handover if you leave. The security page sets out the controls and their limits for your IT provider to review.
