Privacy Policy

This page explains what Automated Edge ("we", "us") collects from you, why, and what we do with it — on this website, and when we work for you. Automated Edge is a trading name of AutomatedMSP, LLC. We have written it in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email hello@automatededge.ai and a person will answer.

The short version

• On this website we collect what you give us (an email address, a booking) and standard usage data (which pages were viewed, from which company network).
• During an engagement, the measurement our agent Edgerton does is consent-based, limited to what you and your staff agree to, kept for your business alone, and deleted five business days after we deliver the report.
• Your business's data never trains a public AI model, is never sold, and is never shared with other customers.
• Your data and everything the AI learns about your business are yours, with full export rights. The server, the database and the Edgekeeper software are ours.
• You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, and ask us to delete it.

What we collect on this website

Things you type in. If you enter an email address to receive the sample report, to email yourself an ROI estimate, or to ask a question, we store that address, the page you were on, and — for the ROI estimate — the numbers you entered. We use it to send you what you asked for and, unless you unsubscribe, the occasional note from the engineering team. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link.

Bookings. Strategy calls are booked through Calendly. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to the booking form; we receive the name, email address and time you choose.

Usage data. We use Google Analytics and PostHog to understand which pages are read and which buttons are used. We configure these tools so that names and email addresses are not sent to them. We also use RB2B, a service that matches a visit from a company network to that company's public business profile, so we can see which businesses are reading the site. RB2B does not tell us who you are as an individual. You can block these tools with a standard content blocker; the site works without them.

Browser storage. The site remembers, in your browser only, whether you have already seen or dismissed the sample-report offer, so it does not show it again. Nothing in that storage identifies you.

Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard web-server logs (IP address, browser type, time of request) for security and reliability, for a limited period.

What we collect during an engagement

Edgerton, the assessment. With the written consent of your business and the knowledge of your staff, Edgerton runs on the computers you choose for ten business days and measures how work happens. You choose, per computer, how much it sees — Activity, Workflow, or Full Picture — and each level has its own consent form. Keystrokes, clipboard contents and email bodies are never captured, at any level. Meeting audio is captured only at the Full Picture level, only with each person's signed consent, and with a rule for outside calls wherever the law requires both parties' consent. We do not offer covert deployment: staff are always told.

Measurement data is stored encrypted, kept for your business alone, never shared with third parties, never used to train a public AI model, and deleted five business days after we deliver the report. The report itself is yours to keep.

Edgekeeper, the brain server. Once your system is built, it runs on a server we provide, dedicated to your business and shared with no other customer. Your business's data and the brain's memory live there. It can read the tools you connect; it cannot change anything in them without a person's approval; and every time it looks at anything, that is written down in a log you can read. If we ever part ways, you keep your data and everything the brain learned about your business, exported in full. That is in your contract. The server, the database and the Edgekeeper software are ours.

Our access. Our engineers access your server only to set it up, run it, and fix it, under the agreement we sign with you. That access is logged.

What we never do

• We never sell your data, or your staff's data, to anyone.
• We never use your business's data to train a public AI model, and we require the same of the AI providers we use on your behalf.
• We never share one customer's data with another. There is one brain per business.
• We never capture keystrokes, clipboard contents or email bodies during measurement.

Who we share data with

Only the providers we need to run the website and your system: our hosting and database providers, the analytics tools named above, Calendly for bookings, and the AI model providers your system uses, each under their own terms and with your business's data excluded from training wherever the provider offers that option. We share data when the law requires it. Where we work through an MSP partner, we share engagement information with that partner because they are your provider of record.

How long we keep it

Email addresses you give us: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Measurement data: five business days after the report is delivered. Your data on your Edgekeeper server: for as long as you are a customer, and then it is handed over to you and removed from our systems. Usage data: for the retention period of the analytics tool, which we keep short.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email with one click. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@automatededge.ai. We answer within a reasonable time and never charge for it. Staff at a customer business who have questions about measurement can ask their employer or write to us directly.

Children

This website and our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and, for customers, tell you directly. The current version is always at this address.
