Is it free?
Yes. Join the Automated Edge blog (coming soon) and the playbook is yours, free to use and share. Grok Bot itself is xAI's paid assistant. Check current plans on xAI's site.
Is Grok Bot just a regular chat app?
No. Grok Bot is xAI's agent app (desktop and mobile). It's different from the regular Grok chat: Grok Bot can do jobs for you on a schedule and hand bigger jobs to helper agents. The setup file is made for Grok Bot.
Will it send anything without me?
No. Messages stay drafts until you approve them. Grok Bot never opens LinkedIn or Facebook: it drafts, you post or send.
Does it touch client data?
No, never. Use your own business marketing information only. Never put client names, records or contact lists into Grok Bot. How long does setup take?
About 30 seconds to sign up here. In Grok Bot, questions one at a time, with a quick win within about the first 10 minutes; the full setup takes about 20 to 25 minutes. After that, 15 to 20 minutes a day reviewing and approving drafts.
Does Grok Bot ever contact potential clients?
No. It only drafts notes to salons, studios, wedding vendors and physicians that could refer potential clients to you, and you send everything yourself. It never cold-contacts potential clients, and their details never go into Grok Bot.
Will it post before-and-after photos?
No. Drafts make no outcome claims, and before-and-after images or claims are used only with the client's written consent and your compliance review. It advertises only approved uses and licensed providers.
Will it suggest paying for referrals or reviews?
No. It never suggests paying or rewarding anyone for a referral unless the rules for your business expressly allow it, and never for a review. Partners get something useful instead, like a talk or a guide.
