Why not just use a public AI chatbot?
You can — and for a lot of work you should. What a public chatbot cannot do is sit inside your business with your data, on a server dedicated to you, wired to your tools, under a log you can read. For compliance-sensitive work, that is the whole question. Edgekeeper is the answer to 'what runs in our building.'
What does an AI managed service provider actually do?
Runs AI for you the way an MSP runs your IT: measure first, then build, then run it under a service agreement and a monthly fee. The difference from a consultant is that we stay and run what we build — and your data is yours.
What if you go out of business?
You leave with all of your data — the records, everything the brain learned about your business, the log — in a documented handover, and we help you move it. Export rights are in the contract from day one. Edgekeeper itself is our software on our server; the knowledge it built is yours.
Is this expensive?
Less than you think — and you won't have to take our word for it. The Assessment models the real running cost from your own usage before you commit. The server is one we provide and run; there is no hardware to buy.
What hardware do we need?
None. Edgekeeper runs on a server we provide, dedicated to your business and sized to the work. The Assessment works out the size.
How does compliance work?
We've run IT and security operations for 20+ years, so the patterns are familiar ones: least access, a log of everything, documented architecture. What we publish is our own security standard — the controls every server is held to, what each stops, and the check that proves it. We hold no external audit report, and we say so. For practices handling patient data we deploy on the API tier with a zero-retention agreement, and the paperwork is signed before any patient data moves.
